The most popular trek originating from Sonamarg is the Kashmir Lake Trek. It covers the lakes of Gangabal, Vishansar,
Kishansar, and close to the Harrnukh peak. The trail first crosses the Nichinai Pass (13 ,387 ft) and then enters the alpine valleys thateventually lead to the Gangabal Lake.Vishansar ,Vishnu’s Lake, is just over 12,000 ft and slightly larger than the 12,500 ft Kishansar, Krishna’s Lake. Gangabal lake is the highlight of this trip. Protected by the three peaks of Mount Harrnukh, Gangabal is 5 miles in circumference and offers the finest trout fishing anywere in Kashmir.
Day 01 : Arrival Srinagar.
On arrival at Srinagar , you will be met by our representative at the airport and transfer you to Deluxe Houseboat. Afternoon free for personal activities. Overnight at Houseboat.
Day 02 : Srinagar – Sonmarg – Thajiwas Glacier 84 Kms.
Leave Srinagar by cars/coach and drive through picturesque village and arrive Sonmarg. Three Kilometres walk to Glacier. Camp at the foot of the Glacier which is 3000 Mtrs. Overnight in Huts/Tents.
Day 03 : Thajiwas Glacier – Nichnai 13 Kms.
Start trekking steep ascending upto Shokhdari where from you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Glaciers and Sonmarg descend towards Nichnai (Shepherds Valley). Overnight in Tents.
Day 04 : Nichnai – Vishnasar – Krishansar Lake 15 Kms.
Leaving in the morning and immediately start ascending to Nichnai pass (13579 Ft) then descend towards Vishnasar and Krishnasar Lake 5/6 hours walking through the beautiful natural garden with many different wild flowers and crossing a stream at the end. Overnight in Tents.
Day 05 : Krishansar – Gadsar 16 Kms.
Full day trek 6/7 hours walk towards Gadsar known as Botanist paradise steep ascending upto Krishansar pass which is 4080 Mtrs. Overnight in Tents.
Day 06 : Gadsar – Gangabal Lake 19 Kms.
Leaving Gadsar and easy ascending upto Poshpatri (The valley of flowers) than a gradual walking upto Megandub. From here steep and difficult trek to Zagibal peak 4180 Mtrs. This is the highest and tiring pass on this trek where you can see beautiful view of the Gangabal lakes and Harmukh peak. Overnight in Tents.
Day 07 : Gangabal.
Day for leisure or Rainbow Trout Fishing at Gangabal lakes or full day visit to Lul Gul pass where from you can see beautiful view of Nanga Parbat. Overnight in Tents.
Day 08 : Gangabal Naranag – Srinagar.
Leaving Gangabal on the way see Trunkol and Nunkol two small Gypsies villages than a steep descend towards Naranag. At Naranag visit Buddhist monastery. It is said that 3rd world Conference of Buddhist was held some where around this place. Leave by car/coach to Srinagar 2hours drive. Tour ends here.
Kashmir Water Trekking

In the summer season we offers a series of a little less rigorous adventure sports,
such as Water Skiing, on Srinagar’s Dal and Nagin Lakes, a popular part time in the valley. Water trekking is calculated to delight anyone wanting to explore the valley in a boat. A Gondala, locally known as Shikara, takes sightseers along a five-day route along rivers and lakes situated within the valley. Enjoy spending nights camping along the way.
Day 01 : Arrival Srinagar.
On arrival at Srinagar , you will be met by our representative at the airport and transfer you to Deluxe Houseboat. Afternoon free for personal activities. Overnight at Houseboat.
Day 02 : Srinagar – Manasbal Lake 5/6 Hrs.
Water Safari starts from Dal Lake to Manasbal Lake. Drive in a special “SHIKARA” with two oars driving through the famous river Jhelum visiting ancient part of Hagen. And enter Mansbal Lake which is famous for water Lillies and Lotus flowers. Tonight we will be in the garden of Manasbal lake. Overnight in tents.
Day 03 : Manasbal Lake – Wular Lake 9/10 Hrs.
This is the second largest Lake in Asia which is ( 19×22 Kms.) and drive through ancient and picturesque Bandipur known as Fish Market. It is very important to cross the Lake when it is quite and calm. Arrive Watlab visit to the famous Muslim Shrine of Baba Shukar Din from where one can see the most magnificent view of the Lake. Camp at the bank of Wular lake. Overnight in Tents.
Day 04 : Wular Lake – Nageen lake – Srinagar.
Depart after breakfast to Dal Lake via River Jhelum which is one of the biggest river in the valley and on the way one can see wild birds at Anchar Lake which is known as “Birds watcher’s Paradise”. At the end of the tour cross Amarkhan Nallah and reach Nageen Lake and arrive Dal Lake in the evening. Tour ends here.
